Ray, Floyd at Pedro's this weekend

From 8 to 11 p.m., Friday, Dec. 29, Christie Ray brings her distinct sound that draws from her love of country, rock, folk and Americana, to Pedro O’Hara’s, 134 Main St., Lewiston. Though her sets focus on original  songs from her upcoming album, “Hold On To Me Tonight,” she’ll also put her own spin on cover songs from a wide variety of artists such as Stevie Nicks, Patsy Cline, The Rolling Stones, Little Big Town, Tom Petty, Melissa Etheridge, Miranda Lambert,  and many more. On Saturday, Dec. 30, Chris Floyd will perform. Born into a musical family, Floyd began playing guitar at 9. By age 10, he was playing on stage in his family’s band. With music spanning classic rock, country, blues and bluegrass, Floyd began his solo career, while also playing in several bands. Music runs from 8 to 11 p.m. on both nights. There is no cover.
