RANGELEY — The Wilhelm Reich Museum will host Fun with Astronomy from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, at its conference center on Dodge Pond Road. Using a new 8SE NexStar computerized telescope, participants will view the planet Saturn, learn about the spring constellations and view some double stars with binoculars. Participants are urged to dress warmly and bring their own binoculars, lawn chairs and bug dope if they wish, as the museum has a limited supply.
Fun with Astronomy that was scheduled for May 20 had to be canceled because of heavy cloud cover. This is a reschedule of that program.
The telescope was funded by grants from The Maine Community Foundation and The Norcross Wildlife Foundation. “Fun with Astronomy” has been created for all ages as part of the museum’s natural science program and is free of charge. For more information call Mary Henderson 864-3443.
