Richard Adams


FARMINGTON – Richard Adams, 76, of Farmington, died Monday, May 1, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Wilton, Nov. 6, 1929, a son of Leslie and Cora (Robbins) Adams. He received his education in Wilton schools and worked at G.H. Bass, and as a woodsman.

He enjoyed gardening, mowing his lawn, fishing, and horse racing.

He is survived by his wife, Nora of Farmington; sons, Nelson, Steve, Jeff, Michael, and Randy; daughter, Pam; brother Edgar; three sisters, Charlotte Smith, Phyllis Partridge, and Beverly McDaniel; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
