Richards completes provider course


NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services, M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announced recently that Sandy Richards, CNOR, RN AS-C, who is employed in the operating room at Stephens Memorial Hospital, recently completed a Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider course.

The PALS program is designed to teach rapid evaluation and interventions for infants and children near or in respiratory or cardiac arrest.

Richards has been an RN at SMH for seven years. She lives in Norway.
