AUBURN — The Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. Bingo will be played after the meeting and a bag lunch.
Under the direction of President Merry Strout, the club met on April 14 with 43 members present. Chaplain Pat Donohue led the group in a moment of silence in memory of member Edward Laine, who passed away March 28. Russell Howe was welcomed back after being ill. It was reported Kaye Hewison was ill and Dodi Juneau was housebound. April birthdays were acknowledged and the “Happy Birthday” song was sung.
Trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin said she still has seats available on the bus to Foster’s Lobster House, York, Friday, June 18, price $55. The bus has a lift for those unable to walk. Reservations may be made for the trip with Sawin at Robin Dow meetings or phone her at 998-4577.
Attendance prize winners were Virginia Howe and Felix Yurkston; pot of gold, Bernice Brooks, Madge Gardner and Virginia Howe; mystery prize winners, Al Cote, George Herrick Sr. and Virginia Houston.
