1952 – 2014
AUBURN — Roger T. Morin, 62, a much loved father, brother and husband of Lewiston, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 16, 1952, a son of the late Daniel and Madeline (Lagasse) Morin. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools. He was an altar server until the age of 12 at Saints Peter and Paul Church and was a graduate of Lewiston High School.
Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was proud to have served his country.
On Sept. 9, 2000, he married Debra Humphrey.
Roger worked at the Sun Journal in Lewiston until his retirement in 2003.
Roger will be remembered for his passion for fishing, gardening and being an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.
He is survived by his wife, Debra, of Lewiston, his children; Jason Morin and his girlfriend, Colleen Michel, of Lewiston and Amanda Goodfellow and her husband, Joshua, of Lewiston. He also leaves behind four brothers, Richard Morin and his wife, Carol, of Scarborough, James Morin and his wife, Betty, of Lewiston, Ronald Morin and his wife, Mona, of Lewiston, and Robert Morin of Lewiston; two sisters, Jacqueline Chouinard and her husband, Gerald, of Lewiston and Joan Camardese and her husband, Gino, of Greene; as well as two grandchildren, Marysa and Cameron Morin.
