WINTHROP — Kate Perkins converted a pass from Nora Conrad at the 11:31 mark of the second half to give Winthrop a 2-1 victory over Oak Hill in MVC field hockey action Friday.
Moriah Hadjuk also tallied for the Ramblers (10-0-1), while Adelle Surette scored for the Raiders (5-7) with an assist from Kiera Young.
Aiva Agri made 15 saves for Winthrop, while MacKenzie Thibeault deflected 10 shots for Oak Hill.
Lisbon 3, Hall-Dale 0
LISBON — Sydney Plourde registered a hat trick on Friday as Lisbon hustled to a 3-0 win over Hall-Dale in another field hockey tilt.
Mallory Fairbanks and Savannah Czechalski also contributed for the Greyhounds with assists.
Mikaylia Harnden turned aside four shots for Lisbon, while Kaylee Magee made eight saves for the Bulldogs.
Mountain Valley 10, Telstar 0
BETHEL — Avery Sevigny recorded a hat trick on Friday to lead Mountain Valley to a 10-0 rout over Telstar in another local field hockey contest.
Leigha Cramer, Faith Riddick and Alexis Baltras chipped in for the Falcons (6-4-1) with two goals each, while a single tally by Rylee Sevigny completed the scoring.
Alyssa Akers didn’t need a single save to notch the shutout, while Perry Morton turned aside 15 shots for the winless Rebels (0-11).
North Yarmouth Academy 2, St. Dom’s 1 (OT)
NORTH YARMOUTH — Ryan Baker scored his second goal of the game in the first overtime period to give North Yarmouth a 2-1 boys’ soccer win over St. Dom’s.
The Saints (2-6) carried a 1-0 advantage into the second half before Baker tied the contest for North Yarmouth.
Connor Clock made 10 saves for NYA, while Briton Kieltyka and Matt Gosselin combined to deflect seven shot for St. Dom’s.
Leavitt 2, Morse 0
TURNER — Connor Cyr and Seth Ramser each found the net in the second half on Friday as Leavitt rolled to an easy 2-0 boys’ soccer win over Morse.
The Hornets (4-3-3) hit the post on seven occasions, yet only managed to score a pair of goals.
Ben Hutchins made five saves to preserve the shutout, while Miles Bobbe turned aside 11 shots between the posts for Morse (1-8-1).
Monmouth 5, Spruce Mountain 0
JAY — After posting just a single goal in the first half, Monmouth’s offense got revved up in the second as they raced away to a 5-0 late-season girls’ soccer win over Spruce Mountain on Friday.
Tia Day led the Mustangs with a goal in each half, while Audrey Fletcher scored a pair in the second stanza. Emily Grandahl also tallied to complete the scoring.
Destiny Clough made four saves to preserve the shutout, while Annabelle Collins and Allison Acritelli combined to deflect 12 shots for the Phoenix.
Oak Hill 1, Hall-Dale 0
WALES — Rylea-Mae Swan found the net in the second half to break a deadlock and give Oak Hill a 1-0 victory over Hall-Dale in more girls’ soccer action Friday.
Sydney Drew contributed for the undefeated Raiders (10-0-0) with an assist.
Anna Dodge turned aside six shots to earn the shutout, while Riley Johnson deflected 15 shots for the Bulldogs (4-4-2).
Oxford Hills 2, Lewiston 0
PARIS — A single goal in each half was ample scoring for Oxford Hills to pull off a nice 2-0 late-season girls’ soccer win over Lewiston.
Julia Colby and Cecelia Dieterich each scored for the Vikings in a solid effort.
Jillian Douglass deflected 10 shots for Oxford Hills, while Gemma Landry turned aside 10 shots for the Blue Devils.
