RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 90 complaints from midnight May 16 to midnight May 23. Basic traffic stops are not given a complaint number.

Wanted

Amanda Spitzer, 29, Dixfield, is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to pay/appear for operating without a license. The date of the warrant is April 15, 2011.

Arrests/summonses

May 17 at 5:45 a.m., Daniel Roy, 24, of Rumford was summoned by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Congress Street on a charge of assault. Roy is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

May 18 at 8:58 p.m., Uniah Leidy, 30, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Swain Road on charges of violation of bail and assault. Leidy was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 18 at 11:26 p.m., Kandice Child, 37, of Canton was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Oxford Avenue on charges of domestic assault and violation conditions of release. Child was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 19 at 4:20 p.m., Geraldine Ramsdell, 58, of Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Spruce Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Ramsdell is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

May 19 at 10 p.m., Joshua Daigle, 21, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Byron Street on charges of possession of schedule w drug and possession of schedule drug (Oxycodone). Daigle posted $2,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on July 5.

May 19 at 10 p.m., Darryl Streeper, 22, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Byron Street on charges of failure to appear for assault and telephone harassment. Streeper was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.

May 20 at 11:57 p.m., Ashley Morisette, 20, of Mexico was summoned by acting Cpl. Donald Miller in Mexico on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Morisette is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 22 at 8:36 p.m., Brian Bragdon, 37, of Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Spruce Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Bragdon is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

Assault

May 14 at 11:54 p.m., Acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an assault at the Barnboard. The case is under investigation.

Burglary

May 16 at 11:19 a.m., Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating a burglary of a Spruce Street residence. Coins and medication valued at $300 were stolen.

May 17 at 4:37 p.m., Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating a burglary and theft of a Route 2 business. A basketball hoop valued at $50 was stolen and recovered.

May 18 at 8:20 a.m., Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating a burglary of medication from a Spruce Street residence.

Criminal mischief

May 19 at 6:07 a.m., Sgt. Doug Maifeld investigated damage to a vehicle that was keyed on Penobscot Street. Damage estimated at $200.

Theft

May 16 at 11:41 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating a theft of a computer on Hancock Street. Estimated loss: $500.

May 17 at 3:18 p.m., Sgt. Doug Maifeld investigated a theft of a dog on Pine Street. Estimated loss: $100.

May 22 at noon, Acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated a theft of a PlayStation 3 game system on Cumberland Street. Estimated loss: $200.
