Incident Report Statistics

 Between 6 a.m. Feb. 22 and 6 a.m. Feb. 28, Rumford patrol officers responded to 78 complaints.

 Arrests/summonses

 On Feb. 22 — 1:35 p.m., a 16-year-old male from Mexico was charged by Detective Sgt. James Bernard with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Juvenile was turned over to his mother and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

On Feb. 22 — 4:40 p.m., Jennifer Gerry, 25, of New Gloucester, was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with criminal mischief on Washington Street. Gerry is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

On Feb. 22 — 5:25 p.m., Megan Palmer, 25, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with assault on Hancock Street. Palmer is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

On Feb. 22 — 5:30 p.m., Jennifer Gerry, 25, of New Gloucester was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller with disorderly conduct on Hancock Street. Gerry posted $800 unsecured bail is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

On Feb. 23 — 1:26 p.m., 16-year-old female from Mexico was charged by Patrolman Donald Miller with theft (shoplifting) on Portland Street. Juvenile was turned over to her mother and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

On Feb. 23 — 3:05 p.m., Carlos Boyd, 31, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Donald Miller on a warrant for failure to appear — domestic assault on River Street. Boyd posted $300 cash bail and was released.

On Feb. 25 — 12:39 p.m., Candace Holmquist, 58, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Lawrence Winson with theft (shoplifting) on Waldo Street. Holmquist is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

On Feb. 26 — 6:29 p.m., Sharon Burgess, 50, of Mexico was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with trespass by a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an attended crash on Mountain View Annex. Burgess is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

 Criminal mischief

On Feb. 22 — 9:33 a.m., Lochness Road resident reported a neighbor removed his “Beware of Dog” signs off his property. Incident under investigation.

Theft

On Feb. 22 — 3:26 p.m., Eaton Hill Road resident reported theft of a $50 microwave off his property on the Swain Road. The case is under investigation.

On Feb. 23 — 8:03 p.m., Mexico resident reported her debit card was lost in Rumford. The bank notified her a small charge was made with it in Connecticut. The case is under investigation.

On Feb. 26 — 9:27 a.m., South Rumford Road resident reported his stepson used his charge account at a local business without permission. Suspect located and bill paid. No charges.

 Wanted

 Casey Flagg, 31, of Carthage and Bethel is wanted on two Rumford District Court warrants for failure to appear for a theft and failure to pay fines for disorderly conduct.
