Rumford Crime Bulletin


Incident Report Statistics:

Between midnight April 19 and 6 p.m. April 25, patrol officers responded to 63 complaints.


At 9:44 p.m. April 24, Dale Korhonen, 22, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with possession of marijuana on Cumberland Street. Korhonen is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 2:50 p.m. April 25, Lyubov Ingerson, 59, of Gorham, N.H., was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld with failure to report a crash by quickest means and leaving the scene of a property damage crash on Route 2, Rumford Point after striking a guardrail and doing an estimated $2,500 damage to the right side of a 2007 Ford F150 belonging to her friend, Michael Wheelden of Glenburn. Ingerson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.


At 11:36 p.m. April 20, Maine Avenue resident reported he had been assaulted. Victim refused to press charges after officers arrived.

Criminal mischief:

At 7:59 a.m. April 24, Prospect Avenue business reported $500 in damage to a light fixture and the automatic car wash. The case is under investigation.


At 4 p.m. April 19, Somerset Street resident reported theft of an envelope with $300 in gift cards out of her mailbox. Cpl. Douglas Maifeld investigated and found that an 11-year-old male stole the cards.


Jennifer Fligg, 32, of Berlin, N.H., is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to pay fines for driving to endanger.
