Incident Report Statistics:

Between 6 p.m. April 25 and 6 a.m. May 3, patrol officers responded to 75 complaints.

Arrests/Summonses:

At 8:20 p.m. April 25, Valerie Grenier, 32, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Somerset Street. Grenier is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 9 p.m. April 25, Amy Burgess, 34, of Roxbury was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with violating conditions of release on Somerset Street. Burgess was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 11:15 a.m. April 26, Joshua Selleck, 17, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder with operating a motor vehicle without a license on Erchles Street. Selleck is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6.

At 3:19 p.m. April 26, Crystal Burgess, 34, of Rumford was charged by Capt. Daniel Garbarini with assault on Waldo Street. Burgess is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court.

At 4:40 p.m. April 27, Timothy Larsen, 43, of Mexico was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with operating after suspension on Lincoln Avenue. Larsen posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6.

At 5:08 a.m. April 28, Mita Okoma McDonald, 19, of North Dakota was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with operating after suspension (another state) on Route 108. McDonald is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6.

At 12:15 p.m. April 28, Mark Cote, 22, of Waterville was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller on multiple warrants for failure to appear for assault, bail violation, disroderly conduct and unlawful use of bait. Cote was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Criminal Mischief:

At 7 a.m. April 26, Rumford resident reporting a wire had been cut on the fire box at the Hancock and Lincoln avenue intersection. The damage was estimated at $10. The case is under investigation.

Theft:

At 3:44 p.m. April 27, Virgin Street resident reported theft of a tricycle. The tricycle was returned after the suspect was located.

At 6:07 p.m. April 28, Freeport resident reported theft of a $300 cell phone. The case is under investigation.

At 12:35 p.m. April 28, Vernon Knight, 35, of Carthage was charged by Ptl. Donald Miller on a warrant for a probation violation and failure to appear for criminal trespassing. Knight was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail

At 4:12 p.m. April 28, Michael Parker, 29, of Roxbury was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with violating conditions of release on River Street. Parker was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court.

At 9:21 p.m. April 28, Ryan Harnden, 27, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Scott Landis with violating conditions of release on River Street. Harnden is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 12:05 a.m. April 30, Ryan Woods, 21, of Peru was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with disorderly conduct and assault on Oxford Avenue. Woods was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6.

At 8:45 a.m. April 30, Howard McLean, 28, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard with violating protection from abuse on Maine Avenue. McLean posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 9:09 a.m. May 1, Howard McLean, 28, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder with terrorizing on Isthmus Road. McLean is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 1:55 p.m. May 1, Howard McLean, 28, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder with violating conditions of release on River Street. McLean was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 8.

At 4:46 a.m. May 3, Carl Ryerson, 28, of Rumford was charged by acting Cpl. K. Scott Mills with burglary, theft, assault and criminal threatening after a suspect forced his way into an apartment on Essex Avenue, assaulted the victim then stole money and drugs. Ryerson posted $2,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on July 16.

Assault:

At 9:07 p.m. May 1, Mexico resident reported she was assaulted at a local establishment The case is under investigation.

Wanted

John R. Bernard, 31, of Rumford is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to pay fines for an assault.
