SANFORD (AP) — The circus that was performing when a severe storm blew down a tent in New Hampshire — killing a father and his young daughter — has staged its first shows since the accident, but without a tent.

WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/1MeS0DB ) reported that more than 100 people attended the 2 p.m. show in Sanford, Maine. A 4:30 p.m. show was also held. No incidents were reported during the open air shows.

Walker International Events of Sarasota, Florida, has four more shows in Maine.

About 100 people were under the tent at the Lancaster fairgrounds when the storm, with wind gusts up to 75 mph, blew through the area just after 5:30 p.m., causing the tent to collapse
