Mrs. Gallant is the daughter of Barbara and Greg Viger of Rumford and the late Bonnie Arsenault. Mr. Gallant is the son of Elise Gallant of Rumford and the late Reggie Gallant.
The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, Greg Viger, wore a white sleeveless tea-length silk dress and carried a bouquet of white silk roses.

Mrs. LaRochelle is the daughter of John and Carlene Parent of Auburn. Mr. LaRochelle is the son of Paul and Sue LaRochelle of Auburn.
The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with lace and beads in A-line style and carried a bouquet of ivory roses.

LEWISTON — Edmond and Lucille Morissette of Lewiston recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 10, 1959, at Holy Family Church and exactly 50 years later returned to the same church to renew their wedding vows during a private ceremony officiated by the Rev. Frank Murray.
Having all their children present and participating in the ceremony and a song sung by their granddaughter, made for a very memorable occasion for all. An anniversary dinner followed at Marco's Restaurant.

A dinner was held for the couple at Marco's Restaurant and was hosted by their three children, Karen and Peter LeClair of Auburn, Eric and Sarah Ledoux of West Gardiner, and Joyce and Sterling Bridger of Virginia.

Witnesses were Alyssa Porrell, a friend of the bride, and Brian McLeod, a friend of the bridegroom. Ariana Duncan, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl, and Thomas Sylvia, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

LEWISTON — A surprise party was held recently for Thomas and Dorothy Peak of Lewiston on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Sept. 26, 1959.
Party hosts were their son, David and wife, Christine, granddaughter, Heather and niece, Jennifer and Russell Morin.
The couple was married at the Federated Church, now Calvary United Methodist Church. They celebrated their 25th and 50th anniversaries at the same church. About 75 guests were waiting for them.

LEWISTON — A surprise 25th wedding anniversary party was held on Aug. 29 for Arthur and Muriel Ouellette of Lewiston at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple was married on Sept. 8, 1984, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
