Senior College presentations at Auburn library

AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library and Senior College are teaming up in May for Senior College Presents!, a series of three one-hour programs, each featuring a presentation by a different Senior College instructor.

The series kicks off on Tuesday, May 18, when Charles Plummer will discuss how misperceptions by five U.S. presidents led to the tragedy of the Vietnam War; continues on Tuesday, May 25, when Rachel Morin will present a slide show on her recent trip to Egypt; and will conclude on Tuesday, June 1, when June Spears will present a slide show about gardening British-style, featuring beautiful but little-known gardens around Cambridge, England.

All three programs will be at 2 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room at the library, 49 Spring St. Admission is free. The programs are part of Auburn Public Library’s ongoing PrimeTime Tuesdays program series especially for seniors, but all are invited to attend.
