Senior students will share their writings at library

NORWAY — Seniors in Pamela Chodosh’s creative writing class at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School will give an open reading of their original works Thursday, May 20, at Norway Memorial Library.

Students have worked together on committees to make this event happen: refreshments, publicity, editing and reading of the works.  “ I believe we should enlarge the definition of learning and the idea of school. The process and the event is one way to accomplish this,” Chodosh said.

The students’  “Night at the Library” will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Refreshments made by students will be available.

Many of the writings will be featured in a book designed and created by seniors Samantha Blom and Megan Anthony. Proceeds from book sales will be donated to the OHCHS library.
