Seniors plan Easter meal

LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Senior Citizens met March 22 at Murray Hall with 26 members present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for deceased members and for the men and women in the Armed Forces. Reported on the sick list was Marie Leblanc. Joyce Richard was welcomed back.

Couture reported that she has senior vouchers available. There will be no meeting on May 24 as Verso will be using the hall all week. Discussion was held about touring the State House. No date was set.

Harold Newcomb will be at the next meeting to distribute magnets for the Vial of Life.

The Easter meal will be held next week at 1 p.m. The club will furnish finger rolls and various members volunteered to bring in salads and other goodies.

The 50-50 was won by Joyce Richard and the door prize, furnished by Carmen Moreau, was won by Georgia Hersey.
