Shelter hosting dinner

FARMINGTON — The staff at the Franklin County Animal Shelter said Kali would love to curl up in a lap that she can call her own. She would love to be able to find her forever home.

Staff said she will chase toy mice, toy balls and even a rogue dust bunny. Kali will snuggle right up to a person and she has plenty of love to give.

New dogs at the shelter include a hound mix from Farmington Falls.

The shelter will host a benefit dinner on Friday, April 9, at the Old South Church. The first seating will be at 5 p.m. and the second seating at 6:30. Tickets may be purchased at the shelter, 550 Industry Road.

During the dinner there will be a silent auction and a Chinese auction. All proceeds will benefit the cats and dogs and the shelter. For more information, call 778-2638.
