‘Sk8 With the Home Teams’ Saturday

AUBURN — Sk8 With the Home Teams, a skating party for local teens, will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Ingersoll Arena. Admission to the event is $5. Students from Edward Little High School, Leavitt High School, Gray-New Gloucester High School and Poland High School are invited to come and celebrate a great school year. Join players and fans from the four area high school hockey teams that call Ingersoll Arena home.

DJ music, party lighting and hot cocoa will be featured at this exciting, first-time event. “This is a way for us to provide an affordable, fun night out for teens from our home team high schools.” said Ingersoll Arena manager Michael Berube. “We want to say thanks to the terrific group of players, students and parents who packed Ingersoll Arena so many times during this past high school hockey season. If they show up and have a great time, Sk8 With the Home Teams will be an annual event to mark the end of the school year.”

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and parents dropping children off are asked to pick them up promptly after the 10 p.m. event conclusion.
