Sloppy grammar


I agree with Dottie Libby in her letter to the Sun Journal May 8.

I hear “these ones” a lot. “These ones” get me: ending a sentence with a preposition and beginning a sentence with a conjunction. Well-known authors and the Sun Journal are guilty of doing that. Those examples are commonplace and accepted.

If I’m wrong, someone out there will let me know.
