Smart money classes to start in Farmington

FARMINGTON — A free 5-week class titled ““My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices,” will be offered starting Nov. 3.

This 15-hour class can help people gain the skills and confidence to stretch your money, pay your bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, plan for retirement, and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class you will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability.

A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support. Successful completion of this class meets one of the requirements for the Family Development Account matched savings program.

Pre-registration and attendance at both sessions is required.

Classes will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24 and Dec. 1, at the Women, Work and Communities Office, 108 Perham St., Suite A, Farmington.
