St. Joseph’s students complete service trip to Haiti

STANDISH — In January, a group of students and faculty completed a weeklong service trip to Haiti sponsored by Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. In cooperation with Partners in Development of Ipswich, Mass., a team of three faculty members and eight students began construction of a house, volunteered in a health clinic and worked on children’s programs.

Participants included Frank Daggett of Harrison, the Mercy Center director at the college, and Abigale Pelletier of Lewiston, a nursing student at the college.
