Storer re-elected director of NEWWA


HOLLISTON, Mass. — John B. Storer of Auburn has been re-elected state director for Maine by the New England Water Works Association, the region’s largest and oldest not-for-profit organization of water works professionals.

Storer is superintendent of the Auburn Water and Sewerage Districts. He has been a member of the association for 10 years.

He is a past president, former five-term member of the board of directors, and former member of the water resources and public awareness committees of the Maine Water Utilities Association.

He also chaired the Maine Water and Wastewater Emergency Response Network, which developed the mutual-aid concept of utilities helping utilities.

Storer is a technical adviser to the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission. He is also a member of the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Club and served as president for 2013-2014.
