Oxford company gets FAME award

OXFORD - National Wood Products of Maine Inc., a manufacturer of children's furniture and other wood products, was honored by the Finance Authority of Maine recently with its Business at Work for Maine Award.
The FAME award is given to a company that has utilized FAME services to access capital in a way that contributes to the state's economic well-being.
National Wood Products began in 1977 as a division of Saunders Brothers, with new ownership in 2005. It has more than 30 employees, and manufactures children's furniture for L.L. Bean as well as skateboards, balance boards, portable baby cribs, wooden handles, wood flooring and other wooden components in a 46,000-square-foot mill. |
