Boat show set for March 9-11

AUGUSTA - The 31st annual Augusta Boat Show, featuring the latest and greatest of boats of all sizes, costs and dimensions, will be held the weekend of March 9-11 at the Augusta Civic Center. There will be power and sailboats, from economical 14-foot runabouts to powerful deep V hull offshore boats; pontoon and deck boats; luxury boats; and more.

Marine supplies are included in the many exhibits at the Augusta Boat Show. Special show guest is David Barnes, president of the Maine Bassmaster's Association. Several boating dealers will also have Bass boats on display. Barnes will present a Bass fishing seminar at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, and another at 1 p.m. Sunday, as interest warrants.

Show hours are from noon to 8 p.m. Friday; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
