Ranger named as advisor at WMFS

FARMINGTON - Franklin Savings Bank has named Jared Ranger of Farmington as LPL financial advisor at Western Mountain Financial Services.
Western Mountain Financial Services, 198 Front St., added Ranger's position to enhance services.
Ranger has been in financial services since 1999. He comes to WMFS from Smith Barney in Portland where he supervised 16 support staff for 40 financial advisors. Prior to that, he worked with two mutual fund companies, Pioneer Funds, based in Boston, and J.W. Seligman, based in New York. In addition, he has worked with Peoples Heritage Financial Group.
Ranger is a Farmington native and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1995. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business and economics from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1999.
Franklin Savings Bank acquired Western Mountain Financial Services in 1999 to expand the traditional banking product line. |
