Oxford Networks gets award

LEWISTON - Oxford Networks was presented with The Healthy Androscoggin Workplace Silver Award in recognition of the company's initiatives promoting a healthier workforce.

Dawna Hannan accepted the award at the April 12 Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce breakfast held at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.

In 2006, Oxford Networks participated in wellness initiatives including a company-wide wellness program, group walks, smoking cessation, team efforts to improve nutrition, and a "Biggest Loser" contest where employees challenged each other to see who could lose the most weight.
