LEWISTON - Gerald R. Emery has been promoted to senior vice president in loan operations at TD Banknorth Inc. in Lewiston. He will continue to manage the commercial loan servicing department for the banking company.

Emery joined TD Banknorth in 1988, and has served in a of upper management positions in the mortgage, operations and finance areas. He has 43 years of banking experience.

An Auburn resident, Emery volunteers on the finance council of Sacred Heart Church and on the finance committee of Trinity Catholic School.

He is a 1969 graduate of the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. A New Hampshire native, Emery is a 1963 graduate of Charlestown, N.H., High School.
