• Wayne Lashae Powell, 29, of 7 Irene St. on a probation hold and a charge of assault, 5:43 p.m. Thursday at 360 Montello St.

• Kevin Fontnette, 46, of 95 Fairlawn Ave. on a charge of operating under the influence, 7:15 p.m. Thursday at 255 Park St.

• Techa Johnsen, 21, of 85 Horton St. on a charge of assault, 10:45 p.m. Thursday at that address.

• Kyle Thomas Murphy, 21, of 30 Northern Avenue Heights, Auburn, on a charge of violating condition of release, 6:30 a.m. Friday at 132 Lincoln St.

• Nicholas Andrew Dulac, 27, of 60 Academy St. on a warrant, 8:55 a.m. Thursday at Washington Street and Rodman Road.

• Dorothy Edmonds, 37, of 289 Turner St. on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 7:43 p.m. Thursday at 100 Mount Auburn Ave.

Accidents
Lewiston

• Vehicles driven by Joseph Edward Dunne, 50, of Lewiston and Edmund Paul Seeley, 45, of Lewiston collided, 9 a.m. Wednesday on Pine Street. Damage to the 2004 Chevrolet SUV driven by Dunne and owned by Debra A. Sullivan of Lewiston was estimated at $1,500; to Seeley's 1996 Dodge, $1,500.

• Cars driven by Crystal D. Provencher, 19, of Lisbon and Jacinta Labbe, 22, of Greene collided, 9:40 a.m. Thursday on Oak Street. Damage to the 1994 Geo driven by Provencher and owned by Joshua A. Colson was estimated at $1,500; to Labbe's 2001 Chevrolet, $3,000. It was towed.

It is plain to see why there was an accident on Pine St, most of the traffic there goes so damn fast they use it for a freeway. That is one of those streets that should only have one lane of traffic and parking on only one side. Pine St. is an accident waiting to happen anyway.

I also saw left hand turn on Pine st. from right hand lane....was that you Bruce?
