NORWAY - A woman was able to free herself from her pickup truck Monday afternoon after it rolled over on Sodom Road.
Susan Giffin, 47, of North Bridgton Road in Waterford, lost control of her 2001 Nissan Frontier while traveling eastbound on the road. The truck rolled over once and came to a rest on the driver's side in the driveway of 340 Sodom Road. Norway police Sgt. James Ventresca said Giffin was traveling too fast when she over-corrected at the top of a small hill.
The Norway police and fire departments responded, along with PACE Ambulance.
Ventresca said Giffin complained of pain and was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital for a checkup, but was not transported by ambulance. He estimated the damage to the vehicle at about $3,500. |
