What's your gripe?

Sunday, April 13, 2008

My mother used an old Maine expression to describe some folks, "Hooray for me and to heck with everybody else." We have had plenty of that in the past seven years, so I wonder if the governor and our super delegates would see wisdom in opening the door for Sen. Clinton's graceful exit? Resistance to the popular choice at this point seems a bit like, "Hooray for me and to heck with everybody else?"

Why not close road areas needing work for a day or two and really fix the problems not just patching them? We seal our driveways, why not the roads? Not just the cracks!

What is it with putting more than the one required registration year on the license plate? There's only one spot for the present year and month, not every year you've had the plate!

You either remove the previous year's tag on the plate or simply place the new tag over it.The month stays the same each year. What's so hard to figure here?
