Morin promoted at ecomaine
Saturday, April 26, 2008
PORTLAND - John Morin of Auburn has been promoted to recycling facilities manager at ecomaine. Morin will manage the only no-sort facility in Maine, a state-of-the-art system that opened in Portland in May 2007 at a cost of $3.7 million.
The equipment makes it easy for homeowners and businesses to recycle more because it does not require any separation of materials by type. Plastic, glass, newspaper, cardboard, etc., all go in one bin.
ecomaine is a nonprofit waste disposal and recycling organization owned and operated by 21 municipalities in southern Maine.
Morin joined ecomaine in August 2007 as recycling facilities supervisor. |
