MECHANIC FALLS - Announcement is made of the engagement of Izabela Sztejner and Colby Hobart, both of Worcester, Mass.

The future bride is the daughter of Anna and Peter Swiatlowski of Worcester, Mass., and Zdzislaw Sztejner of Sztum, Poland. She is a 2001 graduate of Worcester South High Community School in Worcester, Mass., and majors in business at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Mass. She owns a business in Worcester.

The future bridegroom is the son of Bruce and Ann Hobart of Mechanic Falls. He is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2003 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He received his master's degree in electrical engineering from WPI in 2006 and is an electrical engineering consultant.

The wedding will be held May 31 at the First Congregational Church in Boylston, Mass., with a reception to follow in Worcester, Mass.
