Let the night begin

It was February 15 and every Saint Dom's student anxiously sat in their seats waiting for the dismissal bell to ring. There was so much to get done before the big night and not nearly enough time to do it. The girls were the first ones to rush out of the building to make sure they made it to their hair appointments on time, while the boys calmly left the building with a hidden sense of excitement for the events to come.
The students ran into the Ramada to escape the cold and await the announcement of the Semi-Formal court. Once the formalities were concluded, Billy Colasante and I were crowned as Semi King and Queen. After many more camera flashes and smiling faces, the dance began!
Before we knew it, the clock struck eleven and it was time to go home. Overall, everyone had a great time. One student commented that "Even though the night was over, the memories will last forever." |
