Q: What are your thoughts on the proposed plan of cutting the five Art Electives at LHS? Do you think they can be eliminated from the courses offered?
Ashli Boucher
Junior
A: These classes should not be cut. Art is therapeutic and having the art electives help students get prepared to major in art in college. These classes should also stay because they put fun in learning
Kelsey Linell
Freshman
A: No, I don't want these classes cut. I want to be a fashion designer and I need these classes for college.
Sara Morin
Junior
A: No, art classes should not be cut because they teach important life values.
Meghan Craig
Freshman
A: No, cutting these art electives would not be good because as a freshman, I was really looking forward to taking these classes next year. I will be really disappointed if I do not have the opportunity to take them.
Nick Jones
Junior
A: No, because I want to major in art when I get older and my chances of getting into the school of my choice without these classes are slim. |
