Mrs. Marilyn Curtis has devoted her life to improving and strengthening lives of others. Mrs. Curtis currently teaches at Philip W. Sugg Middle School, and regularly extends her day to after school activities. By popular demand at PWS, Mrs. Curtis' science club benefits those students outside the athletic curriculum. Mrs. Curtis strives to include Science Club tasks that are not included in the school's syllabus. The group has worked for about six weeks on material like aerodynamics, bridge building, acids and bases, adaptations with plants, physical science and motion, and a subject of their choice. Mrs. Curtis says "the students enjoy working with material that they may not otherwise be introduced to and will definitely do the club next year. I love science because it is always changing and it helps build skills for the future. Students need to use their mind for creativity."

A far as my opinion reckons, we wish the best of luck to Mrs. Curtis and her future scientists of the world. As Advocate reporters we hopes they have continued success with future endeavors.
