Norcross leads Gee & Bee to wild win over Rotary

AUBURN - Kory Norcross struck out 11 hitters to go with a home run and a single at the plate, leading Gee & Bee to a 10-8 win over Rotary in Auburn Suburban Little League Major girls' softball.
Makayla Norcross went 3-for-3 while Tianna Harriman and Ashlee Arnold both ripped two hits for Gee & Bee.
Kennedy Hubbard pitched a great game for Rotary and was 2-for-3 with the bat.
Margaret Foggarty also was a repeat hitter. ASLL baseball
East Auburn celebrated Opening Day at Auburn Suburban Little League with a 2-0 win over HRH. East Auburn scored both runs without the benefit of a hit, capitalizing on walks.
HRH recorded two hits. Brian Crane and Bryce Gibson each singled. Corey Henderson and Llewellyn Jensen combined for the win, while HRH pitchers Crane, Evan Raymond and Gibson combined on the unusual no-hitter. |
