Students to be bused in one trip

LIVERMORE FALLS - SAD 36 directors voted to return to a single bus run to transport students to school this fall, Vice Chairman Fred Nadeau said.
The vote was to continue the single bus run for multiple years, Nadeau said.
The district had the single run system in place for two school years before returning to a double run this year, in which older and younger students students were transported separately. The change followed a change in state funding for transportation.
The single run means students at all levels will be bused to school at the same time.
Nadeau said Superintendent Terry Despres has learned of more anticipated revenue that would lower the education tax assessment initially given to Livermore and Livermore Falls. |
