Business After Hours at Blais Flowers & Garden Center
Wednesday, May 14, 2008
The May Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Blais Flowers and Garden Center at 539 Webster St., Lewiston. Hosted by the Blais family and staff, chamber members and staff, and guests are invited to "Come Join the Garden Party!" Music will be provided by Pam Weeks on the fiddle. The ever-popular door prizes will be awarded, and food by the even more popular DaVinci's Eatery will be served.
Pam Weeks is a mountain dulcimer player, fiddler in Cajun, Quebecois, New England, and old-time styles, multi-instrumentalist, singer and educator. Solo, or with her bands, she is dedicated to sharing the "joie de vivre" of traditional American music and dance.
Business After Hours is held once a month at a Chamber member's place of business. Attendees enjoy food, prizes, and fun throughout the event, as well as sharing fellowship with friends and colleagues, old and new.
To learn more about the chamber and membership benefits, contact Alice Chamberlin Mogensen at 783-2249 or at alice@androscoggincounty.com. |
