Edible flower gardening

'Edible Flower Gardening' will be the subject of an Accenting Women's Health program at Central Maine Medical Center on May 21.
Jeri Maurer, guest relations coordinator at CMMC, will explore how gardening can be a spiritual teacher, offering lessons about patience, hard choices, and personal renewal. Her presentation will feature a special focus on edible flowers, including how to grow them, their history, and how to use them in cooking and baking.
The program will be presented from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chairmen's Rooms, located on the lower level of the 12 High Street Medical Office Building adjacent to CMMC.
