CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Senate has sent a bill to Governor John Lynch that creates a tax credit for companies that expand in Coos County.

Lynch had requested the tax credit as a way to help the economically stressed region.

A business that creates a job paying at least 150 percent of minimum wage would be eligible for a $750 credit against its business taxes for each of the next five years, while a company that creates a job paying twice minimum wage would receive a $1,000 credit.
