MONMOUTH - "At the May Faire" will offer a variety of events from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Cumston Hall.

There will be a plant sale featuring annuals and "Home Grown Perennials" from local gardens.

A lunch of lobster rolls, sandwiches, chips, drinks and desserts will be available.

There will be a bake and book sale and a children's table where kids can paint a pot and plant a flower.

A "Twisted Ribbon" quilt raffle will get under way at the fair. The quilt is being sponsored by Friends of Cumston Library and will be seen for the first time at the fair. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Proceeds will support Cumston Public Library's enrichment projects. The drawing will take place at the annual library book sale in October.
