LISBON FALLS - The Lisbon Rotary welcomed Kyle Finkle and his parents, Tom and Deborah Finkle of Lisbon Falls, on May 6. The Finkles, along with Lisbon High School Guidance Counselor Ed Nunery, were the guests of Rotary Community Service Director Monica Millhime.

Finkle was selected to attend the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C., last month. He is a sophomore at Lisbon High School and will attend the conference from June 26 through July 1.

"The Congressional Student Leadership Conference Program will enable me to develop practical tools and skills that I will use daily, such as communication, public speaking, time management and conflict resolution. Attending the conference will allow me to raise the standards and expectations for myself and my future goals," said Finkle.

"I will experience first hand how our government works while developing leadership and management potential to better serve this country, my school, and my community," said Finkle.

The Rotary presented Finkle a check for $250 to assist with the tuition costs for the six-day conference.

Lisbon Rotary meets at 7 a.m. Tuesdays at Blake's Grill. For more information, contact Ora Madden, club secretary, at 353-3000, ext. 107, or Monica Millhime, community service director, at 754-0021 or e-mail mmillhime@union30.org.
