Assistant Principal Warren Galway presents the fourth Helping Hand Award to Hayley Smith, Class of 2010.

Smith is presented Helping Hand Award

LISBON FALLS - Warren Galway, assistant principal of Lisbon High School, recently presented the fifth Helping Hand Award to Hayley Smith, a member of the sophomore class.

Smith was nominated by Galway. "Hayley is a young lady who has contributed significantly to the climate and culture of Lisbon High School. Her volunteerism in the school cafeteria and throughout Lisbon High School has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. She is a very deserving recipient of the Lisbon High School Helping Hand Award. Congratulation Hayley, job well done," said Galway during the presentation.

The award was established at Lisbon High School last year to recognize those students who go over and beyond to help the school, their class and/or community. The award is not based on academics.

For more information on student achievements at Lisbon High School, contact Monica Millhime, community resource coordinator at 754-0021, e-mail mmillhime@union30.org or visit www.union30.org.
