Devils scuttle Windjammers

LEWISTON - Michelle Rancourt netted three goals Thursday to lead Lewiston to a 11-2 rout over Camden Hills in more girl's lacrosse action.

Amie Daniels chipped in for the Blue Devils (4-2) with two goals and two assists, while Kristen D'Eramo also scored two goals. Single tallies by Olivia Fournier, Andrea Dibello, Shelby Turcotte and Devyn Daigle completed the scoring. Stephanie Belanger made eight saves to notch the win.

Megan Bauer and Maggie McGraw scored goals for Camden Hills, while Rebecca Stoutamyer turned aside 14 shots between the posts.

Oxford Hills 14, Morse 11

PARIS - Ebony Mills scored five goals and Heather Knights added four goals and two assists to lead Oxford Hills to a 14-11 victory over Morse in girls' lacrosse action Thursday.

The Vikings (7-1) were in control throughout the contest, opening up a 7-5 lead at halftime. Morse never got closer in the second half.

Rachel Strauss added two goals and two assists for Oxford Hills. Mariah Kimball made 10 saves. Beth Suggs led Morse (4-3) with four goals and three assists. Lisett Amderson was credited with 12 saves.

Brunswick 17, Mountain Valley 4

RUMFORD - Lea Mills scored a game-high four goals and dished off two assists to lead Brunswick to a 17-4 victory over Mountain Valley in another girl's lacrosse tilt Thursday.

Skylah Hokering and Maggie Caputo chipped in for the undefeated Dragons (8-0) with three goals apiece, while Abby Weeks added two. Sarah Crostin, Cecilia Kjellman, Steph Fisher, Erin Flynn and Liz Mills also tallied to complete the scoring.

Fisher and Paige Montgomery combined for 10 saves to seal the win.

Brittany Coulombe scored all four goals for the Falcons (1-6), while Molly Theriault turned aside 13 shots in net.
