Modeling daughters
Monday, June 30, 2008
Ann Bryant/Sun Journal
A vintage bridal show highlighted the Colonial Daughters Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution's 100th anniversary celebration Saturday held in the Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. Preparing for the show, Thai Sinkinson of Industry, left, adjusts the hat of her 1989 bridesmaid dress while Kirstin Blood of East Dixfield models a satin wedding gown that pre-dates the 1900's. The wedding and honeymoon apparel worn by local models are part of a collection belonging to Norma Spurling of Bar Harbor. |
