Medical practices to change names

FARMINGTON - Effective July 1, all Franklin Memorial Hospital medical practices will be changing their names to Franklin Health. Franklin Health includes nine physician practices, located in Farmington, Wilton and Livermore Falls. The practices together are one of the largest providers of health care services in the state.

The affected medical practices include: Pine Tree Family Practice, Pine Tree Internal Medicine, Pine Tree Pediatrics, Pine Tree Women's Care, Wilton Family Practice, Rockomeka Family Practice, Franklin Surgery, Franklin Orthopedics, and Franklin Urology.

Pine Tree Internal Medicine will be renamed Franklin Health Internal Medicine; Wilton Family Practice will be renamed Franklin Health Wilton Family Practice; Franklin Surgery will be renamed Franklin Health Surgery; and so on. The most significant name change will be that of Rockomeka Family Practice, which will become Franklin Health Livermore Falls Family Practice.
