Randy Easter of North Jay takes a paddle Wednesday morning around Wilson Pond in Wilton. "I enjoy paddling. I come out whenever I can," Easter said. "It's great. It's just nice to be out on the water under your own power." Easter has built a trailer for his bicycle so he can haul the kayak about 3 miles from his home to the pond.
