LIVERMORE FALLS - One person was injured Wednesday morning when a truck turned into the path of a car on Route 133, police said.
Robert Burhoe, 47, of Livermore Falls, was driving a pickup truck north on Route 133 and turned in front of a car driven by Victoria Quirrion, 17, of Dryden, who was traveling south toward Wayne, police officer Ken Bryant said.
Burhoe's truck, which had been turning in to Isaacson Lumber yard, rolled over on to its side, Bryant said.
A passenger in Quirrion's car, April Hand, 18, of Jay, was treated at the scene by NorthStar Emergency Medical Services medics for minor scraps and bruises, Bryant said.
Burhoe received a scrape on his hand but declined treatment, Bryant said.
Both vehicles were totaled, he said. |
