Lobster lunch

NORWAY - The Women's Fellowship Group of the Second Congregational Church will sponsor its annual lobster roll lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The annual quilt show will take place upstairs with an admission price of $4. With the purchase of a ticket for the lunch, admission to the quilt show will be free. For more information, call the church office at 743-2290.

Angler's Service

NEW PORTLAND - The special annual Angler's Service at North New Portland Community Church, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, July 13, has been postponed to Sunday, July 20. Master Guide and storyteller Gary Cobb will be the featured speaker.

The service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church on Hancock Pond Road, with a special focus on the outdoor heritage in the Upper Kennebec River Valley. Special music and stories will be featured. FMI: 778-4705.
