WILTON - Two arrests were made Thursday after police responded to a 911 call for suspicious activity behind the Big Apple on Route 2.
Tammy Daggett, 38, of Farmington was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule Z drug and violation of condition of release.
Eric Barnes, 23, of Skowhegan was arrested on a charge of violation of condition of release.
Responding to the call, police found seven people and three cars parked behind the convenience store.
A search of one vehicle resulted in a vial of four types of prescription pills being found. Another pill was found beside Daggett, who was sitting in the back seat of a car, according to a police news release.
Daggett admitted to swallowing several Oxycotin pills when police arrived and was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital for treatment before being arrested.
Another vehicle owned by Barnes was searched and a container of alcohol was seized, the release stated.
Daggett was released on $100 cash for a court appearance on Sept. 4. Barnes was released on July 12 with no other bail information available, according to a jail intake officer. |
